There certainly is nothing wrong with wearing a nice suit if it fits the venue and if the bride is alright with it. If there is absolutely no way around wearing a tuxedo, you might be able to borrow one from a family member or a friend. When you consider that you are probably only going to wear it once, this could save you a lot of money. The only thing you would have to pay for would be to have it fitted. Now, here is another possibility. This may sound crazy, but some rental prices on tuxedos are outrageous. If you look around, you may be able to actually purchase a tuxedo for less than renting one. Then, after the wedding, if you feel like you will never wear the tux again, you can always sell it. Another thing that may sound obvious is to shop around. If you have decided to rent a tuxedo, shop around at as many Albuquerque area shops as possible. You may be surprised how the prices can vary. Also, if you are not wedded to any particular style, you will probably be able to rent styles that are less popular for a much lower price. One last trick of the trade is to ask if there is a discount if all of your groomsmen get their tuxedos at the same place.

On the Bride's Side

We realize that you don't have the inclination to be as penny pinching but there are some great tricks to keep in mind when you start your search. For one, don't over think your search. When your gut tells you that you have found the right dress, there is nothing wrong with stopping right there. Trust your instincts. Also, when you go into the bridal salons around the Albuquerque area, makes sure you keep an open mind as you peruse. It is alright to listen to the consultants that the salon employs. Don't have unrealistic expectations, make sure that you are looking for a dress that is perfect for you right now and not for the person you were 10 years ago. Related to your instincts, you might have a lot of people in your ear that are telling you to get this dress or that dress. If there is one you really like and you feel great in it, no matter what anyone else says, go for it. After all, this is your wedding. When you go on your shopping rounds, make sure that you only take three to five close friends that you know love you and respect you.
